7. Lightspots
♥ Zhaoxing Dong Village is clustered with wooden structures, of which best represented masterpieces are drum towers, wind and rain bridges and theater stages.
♥ The whole complex is supported by timbers, no nails or rivets used at all in the construction.The fact that all drum pavilion floors are odd-numbered is derived from the tradition in Dong numerology (or Divination arithmetic) that odd numbers are associated with good fortune and happiness.

8. ♥ There are five naturally formed villages called Ren (benevolence), Yi (righteousness), Li (courtesy), Zhi (wisdom) and Xin (faith), named after the five traditional virtues.
♥ A theater stage will be found wherever there is a drum tower. One can occasionally encounter colorful local shows performed at these theater stages during important local events.
♥ The Dong’s “Wind and Rain” bridges, set up over a river,not only have a traffic function, but serve as the centre of various activities like dancing and singing.
♥Zhaoxing has been included in the Guinness Book of World
Records for its pure ethnic culture.

The three cardinal guides and the five constant virtues are principles of feudal moral conduct, specified in the feudal ethical code; the Three Cardinal Guides (ruler guides subject, father guides son and husband guides wife) and Five Constant Virtues (benevolence, righteousness, propriety[prə'praɪətɪ] , knowledge and sincerity) .
