“From nothing to noteworthy: The development of a cancer plan.”
Castro, Georgina “From nothing to noteworthy: The development of a cancer plan.” The above quote is from a woman who is the member of a tribe who participated in one of the meetings. At the end of the meeting, after meeting representatives from the state health department, and discussing plans for the state health department to help her develop a cancer plan for her IHS unit, she said already had a title for her experience, “From nothing to noteworthy: The development of a cancer plan” . Her tribe does not receive any funds from CDC and this a great example of the intention of this grant.
