2. Objectives Review the exchange hour requirements.
Review the steps for uploading your Region 10 online compliance certificates in Eduphoria.
Review the steps for uploading your outside workshop certificates in Eduphoria.

3. Explanation of Exchange Hours
All employees may exchange 18 hours of professional development for November 24-26, 2014 (Thanksgiving week).
These hours may not be completed during a regular contract day, nor will compensation be provided.
All 18 hours must be completed, and documented in eduphoria, between December 2, 2013 and October 31, 2014.
*New: Documentation for all sessions attended during the spring and summer is to be submitted in eduphoria by August 22, 2014 (the end of the August in-service week).

4. online Compliance Training
All Employees must complete the Region 10 online compliance training regardless of how many other hours are accumulated.
Employees who work with PK – 4th grade are responsible for 6 hours of online Compliance Training.
Employees who work with grades 5-12 are responsible for 7 hours of online Compliance Training (includes Suicide Prevention).
The online training hours will automatically be counted toward your 18 required exchange hours.
Compliance training must be completed between JUNE 2014 and October

5. Part1: How to Add a Region 10 online Compliance Certificate to Eduphoria (New Process)
Go to and log-in.
Select Workshop
Select eCourses

6. How to Add a Region 10 online Compliance Certificate to Eduphoria
Select the Online Compliance Training June 2014 for Secondary or Elementary.
Click “Register”

Select the Instructor Notes tab for instructions regarding accessing the online compliance courses through Region 10. (Each chapter in this eCourse is a container to upload your online compliance certificate).
The Instructor Notes contain the directions for creating a Region 10 online account and the link for accessing the online compliance courses.

8. How to Add a Region 10 online Compliance Certificate to Eduphoria
Once you finish your online Compliance Courses, you are ready to upload your certificates. Select the Course Content tab.
Select View next to the corresponding chapter. (Each chapter is a container to upload your online compliance certificate. This makes the upload process easier and eliminates the need for creating entries for each individual course).

Select Attach File.
Select Browse.

Locate your certificate that you saved to your computer desktop (or other file location) and click Open.
Select Attach File.

Select Score Assessment. *Note: Uploading the certificate is the assessment.
Click on the X in the top right hand corner of your screen to close this chapter.

The chapter you just completed should now have a green check.
Continue to select each chapter and attach your Region 10 online Compliance certificates.
Once you have added all of your certificates, select Request Credit.
You are not finished until there is a green check on each chapter and you click Request Credit.

13. Part 2: How to Add an Outside Workshop Certificate to Eduphoria
Go to and log-in.
Select Workshop and My Portfolio.
Select Add New Portfolio Entry from the lower left hand corner.

Select outside workshop or conference.
Click Next in the lower right hand corner.

Enter the title of your certificate and then click Next.
Select the date and time of the workshop, and then click Next.
Click Next in the lower right hand corner.

Select the End date and time from the calendar, and then click Next.
Click Next in the lower right hand corner.

Select Yes, because you would like to request district credit.
Enter the hours from the certificate next to Exchange Hours. You may also track your SBEC credit by entering the same number in both boxes.
Click Next in the lower right hand corner.

Select At a later time, after I modify the entry. (This step allows you to upload your certificate before you submit your entry for approval.)
Click Next in the lower right hand corner.
To create your entry, Click Finish in the lower right hand corner.

Click on the entry you just created, found under Portfolio Summary.
Click on the Notes Tab.

Click on the paperclip on the right hand side of the page. Click Browse, Locate your Document, Click Open and then Attach File.
Click Submit for Approval.
