Positive Feedback Having all the information to access whenever I chose. The live sessions were great as I did not have to travel in to university but could still interact with the lecturer and the group. That they were recorded so I could go back to them or watch ones I was unable to make. Also a really good way of staying in touch with the cohort and our lecturers while on placement.
7
Positive Feedback Being able to go back over recorded sessions numerous times before our exam, so the information was fresh in my mind. Being able to ask questions and having the recordings to refer back to. It is a great tool to use for a tutorial.
8
Not so Good Bad connections with international student connections issues. Ended up using Skype more than Adobe connect. However when it worked it worked well. When we discussed things I wasn't really interested in. It was difficult to attend all sessions due to other life events
9
Key Learning Have a Tech Session prior to the first meeting.
Have a second colleague to help manage the process. Link Adobe Connect to your VLE Delivery Site. Use Doodle Poll to offer several sessions to maximise engagement.
10
Key Learning Ensure that students use headphones to minimise audio feedback. Record the sessions for posting on the VLE. Do not use Video – It slows down the connection speed, increases the lag and makes the downloaded recording HUGE.

And they felt it did…..
