Stick Information Junior size Height Standing on feet – nose Standing on skates - chin Knob – optional but not too large Skate Size and sharpening Proper sizing important Sharpening - every 4-6 skates or 2 outdoor Sharpen before each game if possible

Uniforms Game Jerseys and Socks Each Player will receive the following items Two Jerseys white/blue Two pairs of socks White/Blue A garment bag Jerseys and socks will be worn during games and scrimmages (not during practice) Please keep jerseys in garment bags in order to keep them looking new. We attempted to accommodate all requests for jersey numbers, but to be fair we will hand out a bag with the specific jersey size requested and then the players will be assigned that number.

Team Goals /Rules/Philosophy E-AT Effort Always giving it 100% Attitude Stay positive in all situations Teamwork Practice and play as a team (on and off the ice)

Notify coaches ASAP if player will miss a game the coaches/managers please Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to a game if possible If your child stayed home from school due to illness, please don’t bring them to the rink (for games or practice) Bring your own water bottle – prevent the spread of germs Tryouts (closed) explanation for new parents

Full Ice games with referees, rules etc. Positioning We will assign and rotate so they learn the game at all positions We do have designated goal tenders If your child is interested let us know New Icing Rule If the team on the penalty kill ices the puck, play will be stopped and a faceoff will be in the defensive zone. This promotes puck control/controlled breakouts(exiting the defensive and neutral zone under control)

Coaches Corner –Cont. Safety and Injuries Concussions
“Fair Play” Points – points for sectionals earned, 1 point per game fair point. Players Penalties no more than 10 minutes per game Coaches –lead by example Parents – lead by example Safety and Injuries Concussions We will follow protocol and cannot play a player with a concussion Injuries – ice, ice, ice Notify coaches ASAP if your child has an injury from Hockey or any other activity
