2. Snow
Snow is really cold rain that falls when the precipitation in the clouds freeze. Snow will only fall if it is colder than 0 degrees Celsius.

3. Clothing
If you are ever outside when it is snowing or if it has snowed, you will need to wear layers of clothing. Some of the best types of clothing are thermals – wear them under your clothing. Another thing is a big thick coat and thick woollen socks.

4. Where
This weather happens in winter. It can happen almost everywhere in the world. Some of the places that snow happens in are America and Canada. Some people live in the snow all the time. They are called Eskimos.

5. Snowflakes
Snowflakes are made of ice crystals. Each snowflake has six sides and as many as 200 ice crystals. Snowflakes form in clouds where the temperature is below freezing. As the snow crystals get heavier they fall towards the ground.

6. Snow
Snow is fun to play in but you must be aware of the dangers and wrap up warmly.
