Tomographic ultrasound image obtained on a normal fetal brain at 22 weeks' gestation showing successive sagittal sections displayed from left to right. The sagittal planes correspond to the planes that are marked crossing the brain on the coronal image. The slice interval is 2.3 mm and the marker dot is seen in the midline on the cavum septi pellucidi, therefore both right (R) and left (L) of the median sections are seen.
