5 Science All students will follow a Triple Science pathway.
Year 9 GCSE Options Science All students will follow a Triple Science pathway. This will give you the opportunity to achieve three separate Science GCSE qualifications; one in Biology, one in Chemistry and one in Physics. If it is deemed that the Combined Science pathway suits you, based upon your progress and suitability for the course, then you will transfer your learning onto the Combined GCSE Science pathway at the start of your Year 11 studies. The Combined Science qualification is equivalent to two GCSEs, although you will study all three sciences.

15 Year 9 GCSE Options Thursday 9th November 2017 – Year 9 Options Fayre. Friday 10th November 2017 – Deadline for the option taster sessions form to be completed and submitted. w.b. Monday 20th November 2017 – Options taster week. Thursday 23rd November 2017 – Year 9 Parents’ Evening. w.b. Monday 27th November 2017 – SLT appointment week (An opportunity to book an appointment with a member of the SLT to discuss potential option choices).
