2. Strategic Planning First have a fixed aim framed at the end of Sem-2
Accordingly exercise your flexibilities in curriculum choice- Selection of Core, Electives and Value Added Courses
Undertake your design / projects in same as that of the area you aim to develop your career.
Develop your employability skills in same area that you aim towards.
Be actively participating in National/ International student events in area that you aim for your career, through paper presentations, model exhibiting etc.

3. Your Resume
Must from a crisp reflection of all domain and co-domain skills you posses.
Must be not more that 2-3 pages or 2500 words.
Must contain, what major difference you as an individual posses, differentiating you from other students of your same batch.
Give clear reflection of projects, models, simulations carried out by you.
Give reflection of various papers presented, published by you in conferences, journals respectively.
Never reflect any skill which you either do not possess or are not confident with.

4. What does Career Choice mean?
Direct Employment after B.Tech.
Higher Studies and then Employment: Higher studies either in India or abroad.

GATE Mandatory for almost all major companies.
Design specific orientation throughout your B.Tech.

7. Higher Education In India after B.Tech.
M.Tech. at IITs/ NITs / IISc. / Government Universities. : GATE Mandatory with higher end percentile.
M.Tech. in Private Colleges / Universities etc. : GATE / State level PG test ranks mandatory.
MBA: IIMs / ISB etc. CAT / GAMT mandatory
Essential to posses design skills, project skills and must have good papers presented/ published.

GRE / TOEFL/ IELTS either / or mandatory
Select reputed universities with standard rankings and Graded by ABET for their PG Programs.

9. Entrepreneurship Must possess a business plan in a prominent area
Must either would have developed a product or must promote a product developed by some one else through Technology Transfer.
Must be well versed with Govt.of India policies.
Must be through with funding possibilities from Banks, Govt. and Individual agencies.
