Fasting glucose during pregnancy and 2-hour glucose in the oral glucose tolerance test with 75 g of glucose (2-hour OGTT 75 g) in the third trimester of pregnancy, according to D2 Thr/92Ala genotypes, assuming a recessive model of inheritance. Comparisons of fasting glucose in the first (P=.65), second (P=.79), and third (P=.20) trimesters, and 2-hour OGTT 75 g (P=.50) in the third trimester of pregnancy were not different across Ala/Ala and Thr/Ala-Thr/Thr genotypes.
