2. Bloody Mary ideas Mind map
This is my idea and what I am going to do with the story:
Do a modern day version where she is in University and is pregnant after a one-night stand, she gets bullied by a group of people. She then gets knocked over by a car and loses the baby. The bullies carry on tormenting her, she then gets home and breaks down. She throws a vase at the mirror which breaks it and then she picks up a shard and stabs herself with it. The bullies create a game called Bloody Mary and said “Bloody Mary” into a mirror three times and talked about her baby. One of the bullies decided to do it on their own and this time the power cuts out, when the lights turn back on Mary is standing there and is ready to get her revenge.
My target audience is people aged 18 and upwards. I am going to show my style with a horror twist and do a modern version.
2. My second idea is based on my first idea but with this idea, I decided to cut out the parts that do not really have to be in the story. I decided not to have “Mary” die instead be a killer and probably in the end have her named “Bloody Mary”.
-Girl goes to Uni
-Goes out to a club on Fresher’s week, 4-6 weeks later takes a pregnancy test and its positive.
-She goes back out to a club and this time her drink gets spiked. (Blood splattered page) Baby dies.
-Finds out the person who spiked the drink was the father.

4. Synopsis
My story is about the tale of Bloody Mary in a modern day environment, I decided to do this to make it more realistic and actually connect to the readers and not sound like a myth.
Act One (The Set-up): At the start it shows a police case file of Bloody Mary. Then it shows 2 months earlier where it tells you about a girl called Mary who goes to Uni and studies Law, she goes out on Fresher's weekend. It skips ahead 4-6 weeks where she is taking a pregnancy test which comes back positive. She decides to go out with her friends again but this time her drink gets spiked.
Act Two (The Conflict): She wakes up in agenising pain to later find out she lost the baby. She finds out the person who spiked her drink was the same person who got her pregnant. She goes out to find him to get her revenge on him, she finds him at his apartment and they have a fight.
Act Three (The Conclusion): She picks up a photo frame and throws it at him which shatters the mirror behind him. He falls to the floor dodging the frame, she picks up a shard of the mirror and stabs him with it. The neighbours call the police which take Mary to prison and then it goes back to the police talking about her case file which shows her as Bloody Mary.
