DON”T WASTE PAINT Because you are adding water to the paint you do not have to use large amounts. Start with a small amount of paint and add more if the job requires you to do so.

Get it all Make sure you get all of the project. Before you call it done look at all angles.

This paint job is very basic.
It is great for a cartoon look It is simple and one dimensional

Making it More Believable
Using a darker color than your base coat (not black) paint a wash over dark crevasses. Such areas you may want to focus on are inside ears, up in the nostrils, wrinkles and maybe under and around the eyes. Now using a a old toothbrush or a chip brush that has been cut down
Now using a a old toothbrush or a chip brush that has been cut down. Splatter one of your lighter colors all over your project. DO NOT HURRY. Make sure to get an even coat over the whole sculpture.

This part takes some experimentation
This part takes some experimentation. Go back and forth between the colors you have chosen until you start to get colors that begin to look like the natural skin. For whatever you are designing.

Dry Brush Painting Taking a paint brush unload your paint on a piece of paper. As you paint using the dry brush it will show the other layers of paint and bring out the high points of the project THIS TAKES PRACTICE TO MAKE IT LOOK RIGHT.

Painting the Eyes Paint the eyeballs with coats of white. It may take 2 or 3 coats to cover all of the splatter from the skin.
