Human resource planning is the process of making decisions regarding the acquisition and utilization of human resources. The human resource plan focuses on an analysis of the organization’s objectives and the plan for acquiring resources to meet those objectives.

The special function of HRIS is to gather, collect and help analyze the data necessary for the human resource department to do its jobs properly.

9 Common hris functions Demographics: information about worker availability, education, ages. Wages and salaries: company pay structure, planned raises, and wage histories. Labor relations: labor contract data, grievance information, and worker seniority lists. HR Planning: projections of future needs HR data management: basic employee information such as wages, social security numbers and job titles.
