Summary Findings of the DBOTB 2016 Report
The report does not identify all Canadian financial institutions. Only 18 Canadian institutions were assessed. (None passed the test.) If you deal at a credit union, participate in a small pension fund, etc., you will have to do your own research The report identifies only publicly traded nuclear weapon producers. It does not look at state-owned industries, nor at privately held corporations, which do not release public information Ploughshares Calgary 2017

The report studied public information issued by 408 banks, insurance companies, pension funds and asset managers from 26 countries 390 financial institutions involved significantly in the nuclear weapons industry The named institutions own at least .5% of the outstanding shares or bonds of at least one of the producing corporations The reporting period ends at August Divestitures made or authorized since then are not reflected in the report Ploughshares Calgary 2017

27 producing companies are active in the western stock markets These corporations can be involved in one or more of the following: Production (including components, software & delivery systems) Maintenance Modernization The companies are based in France, India, Italy, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom and the United States Ploughshares Calgary 2017
