1. Welcome GATE Meeting November 19, 2013

2. 8th Grade Fieldtrip
8th Grade will attend California State University of San Bernardino on December 5th.
After the campus tour students will visit the campus museum to learn about Egyptian art and history.
Students will receive a camps word search to complete after their tour, this is a supplemental activity, not to be graded in any class. It will only be provided for fun to the student and as a recap of what they learned and observed on the tour.

3. 7th Grade Fieldtrip
7th Grade will attend California State University of San Marcos on January 14th.
They will experience
Campus tour
Q & A by CSUSM students
An Educational activity including review of A-G college requirements

4. Chaperoning a Fieldtrip
I would appreciate parent support with chaperoning; unfortunately, policies have changed and chaperones must be pre-screen through the district. If interested, please me and I can get you that information.
You are ALWAYS welcome on this trips.

5. Academic Celebration
In January, about three weeks after our return from winter break.
Music and Food will be available for students
This event will take place in the MPR during 7th period
Requirements: 3.5 GPA and above

6. Breakfast with the Principal
Moved from December to January, upon Mrs. Arce’s return
5 student from each grade level will be selected
Grades, GPA, citizenship and teacher recommendation will be considered

7. Coffee with the Principal
Our last event was a such a success that I would love to see again
I will send out a teleparent informing you of our next coffee meet and greet
This will happen the week of December 9th
Hot chocolate and tea will be available this time 
