For all three of the Sciences, the internal SQA assessment has been removed at National 5 level.
All National 5 sciences have an assignment to complete
write up under open book exam conditions with a set time limit - new
marked externally at SQA

5. National 5 exam Exam length has increased to 2 ½ hours
Prelim will have the same format
Question paper has two sections:
Section 1 – 25 multiple choice
Section 2 – 75 extended response questions
