Organisms -Organisms are living things {eg: Mosquitoes} *Only female mosquitoes feast on human blood.

Biotic Biotic parts of the environment are those that are alive; ie: the living things {eg: humans, plants, birds, animals, insects}

Abiotic - Abiotic parts of the envirionment are those that are non-living {eg: air, water, soil}

Individual An individual is one organism.

Biological Population
A group of individuals of the same species, living together in one place at one time, is called a biological population.

Species A species is a group of organisms who can successfully reproduce among themselves.

Biological Community A biological community is made up of all the populations that live in one area.

Habitat In every community, each species has a particular place where it lives, known as the habitat. {eg: cheetahs live in jungle}

Adaptation An adaptation is an inherited characteristic that helps an organism survive and reproduce in its environment.
