Constitutional Amendments
Propose all amendments with a 2/3 vote Amendments are not laws. They are essentially guidelines to rights.

Electoral Duties The House of Representatives votes for President if no candidate receives a majority of electoral votes. Each state, regardless of size, casts one vote. The House has chosen two of our presidents(Jefferson and John Quincy Adams)

Impeachment Impeach: to bring charges against a public official.
This is the responsibility of the House of Representatives. The Senate tries the case with the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court presiding. Two Presidents have been impeached

Executive Powers Senate must approve all presidential appointments with a majority vote. These positions include cabinet members, justices, ambassadors.
