11 Problems with Job Hunting
Explanation, transition Need to explain how serious ELSA is Problem with lack of understanding what are our main advantages Communication with STEP traineeship providers - long time until they fill out TSF Local groups started their year at different times ELSA International - JH Trainings needed, updating handbook, helping with contacts Country Not enough institutions and officers that are willing to take interns (small country) Common law system Traineeship providers Convincing to have personal meeting Traineeship providers does not want to pay to the trainee Traineeship providers have their own traineeship systems Lack of knowledge of national law Traineeship providers want someone who speaks their language Market research in order to give Job Hunting higher quality

12 STEP Expansion Same process Permission needed; DB:
The term international contact covers a law firm situated in five or more countries with 100 or more legal professionals as stated in the respective firm’s website. Companies that do not qualify as law firms, and which are present in five or more countries are to be considered international contacts. Quantity (Strategy Goals 18) vs. Quality

13 STEP Globalisation ADED: Dominican Law Students’ Association
ALSA: Asian Law Students’ Association Ecuador, India, Israel, Mexico, USA
