The headquarters is located in Ada, Michigan. Globally, Amway operates in 58 countries
The company was set up by Rich de Vos and Jay van Andel in It has remained a 100% privately owned business
Amway is a manufacturer of more than 600 products. 99% of the production comes from the US
All of the products are sold in the direct selling model
Our global workforce is 13,000 employees and 2009 revenues have reached US$ 8.5b
Amway Business Centre Europe (Amway ESSC)
Has been set up in Krakow in 2009; first staff came on board in March 2010
Provides F&A, IT, Order Management and Marketing Communications services for European affiliates of Amway (25 countries)
Currently employs 75 employees (100 as of end of 2010)
