Predator A MQ1B The MQ1B Predator A is a medium-altitude, long-endurance, remotely piloted aircraft. Its primary role is to provide real-time reconnaissance video imagery to ground commanders, but it has the additional capability to strike against ground targets using Hellfire missiles. The basic operating crew is one pilot and a sensor operator who fly the Predator mission either locally from inside a portable Ground Control Station or via satellite links from Nellis AFB, Nevada.

Predator B MQ9A The MQ9A Predator B Reaper is a high-altitude, long-endurance remotely piloted aircraft designed for surveillance, military reconnaissance and ground-attack missions. The aircraft is controlled by a pilot and sensor operator who are located in a Ground Control Station. Two cameras in the nose of the aircraft provide the pilot with a forward view using either daylight TV or Infrared, whilst the sensor operator controls the targeting pod. A KU band SATCOM system provides over the horizon control of the aircraft via a KU-band data link.
