Interview Process Structured interview: screening process that follows a predetermined agenda; designed to elicit necessary information or interviewee reaction Unstructured interview: freewheeling exchange; determines applicant’s ability to speak comfortably about a wide range of topics Stress interview: anxiety-producing; evaluates interviewee’s performance under stress Group interviews: team process; key people in the organization interview candidates Virtual interview: conducted via videoconferencing technology; more productive use of a recruiter’s valuable time 1 © 2009 Cengage Learning.
