2. Roadmap for version 9.0
The product roadmap for the latest release of SAINT Security Suite and SAINTCloud was developed from 4 primary goals:
Improve usability in navigation and workflows.
Increase power and effectiveness of dashboards and analytics.
PCI ASV Re-certification for SAINT Corporation and our products’ PCI ASV scan and reporting capabilities to meet ASV Program Guide v3 requirements.
Enhancements to Web Application scanning.
The following presentation highlights the key changes in version 9 designed to meet these goals.

3. Usability - Navigation and focus
Constant visibility and access to active Menu’s pages
Quick navigation across the system with menu with active Menu “hotspots”.
Blue underline highlights current page

4. Usability - Grid Actions, Data Filters and Views
Single consolidated Data Filter option to replace page-level buttons.
Data View options usability consistent with other option lists
Grid Actions options replace embedded grid buttons for global actions.
Page buttons and top level grid action icons have been replaced by functional lists for ease of access.
Long value lists in cells now provide feature to show first 10, then expand the cell as needed.

5. Usability - Create “New” from anywhere
No more navigating to a Menu option or page just to create a new object. All new “Create” feature accessible from anywhere for fast access to create common objects, such as Jobs, Reports and Users.

6. Workflows – Job Creation
Step 1: Job Title and Scan Policy
Job Wizard reorganized to speed up job creation
Step 2: Define Target List
Step 3: Schedule
Changes:
Consolidated Step 1 and 2 with Policy selection in Step 1
Target Group target creation/selection now in Step 2
FINISH button active in Step 2 after required steps
Optional steps can be skipped

7. Enhanced Default Dashboard Panels
The default panels have been redesigned to focus on most critical metrics:
Vulnerability counts by Severity levels
Detailed results for most Critical
Top Vulnerabilities
Most Vulnerable Hosts
Most Vulnerable Host Types

8. Dashboards – New panel options
New panel options to enhance visualization of scan results. Panels are now customizable to control their size, location, color. Add as many panels, per dashboard, as you need. Vulnerability counts by Severity with one-click drill down to results; or add a panel with the Details to save you the step.

10. PCI ASV Program Guide Support
SAINT re-certified as PCI Approved Scanning Vendor (ASV) in June 2017.
SAINT ASV cloud solution updated to reflect changes in Program Guide requirements.
SAINT Security Suite and SAINTCloud updated to reflect new requirements for scanning and report changes to Attestation, Executive and Detail report formats.

11. Web Application scanning enhancements
You can now specify web authentication credentials as a URL from a login form with POST data for web applications that use single-step authentication.
Scan Configurations now provide support for specifying how long web authentication cookies can be used. Previous versions were pre-set within the product.
