Cylinder Replacement Procedure

2. A Place the SCBA unit on the ground with the cylinder valve toward you.

3. B Disconnect the high-pressure coupling from
the cylinder. If the knob is difficult to turn, the
high-pressure line may still be pressurized.

4. empty cylinder down out of the harness
C Release the cylinder clamp or locking mechanism used on the unit and slide the
empty cylinder down out of the harness
back plate assembly.

5. D Inspect the O-ring on the seat of the
high-pressure hose for any damage,
scratches, or foreign matter.
