Included children, servants, livestock, and sojourners.

4. Work was a consequence of sin.

5. Deuteronomy 5:12-15 A repeating of the law.
Reminded they were a slave in Egypt.
Reminded God delivered them.
Redemption.

6. Sabbath System Day. Every 7th year (Sabbath Year):
Land not to be worked (Lv 25).
Release of debt (Dt 15).
Every 7th Sabbath Year (49th year)
Jubilee - a grand Sabbath (Lv 25).

7. Jesus and the Sabbath Lk 4:16 - Jesus begins teaching His gospel.
Mk 2: Jesus taught that the Sabbath was made for man.
Lk 13:10 - heals woman, teaches on the purpose of the Sabbath.
