are commonly caused by storms or cyclones

6. Coastal floods
are caused by severe sea storms or as a result of tsunami or hurricane

7. Catastrophic floods
are caused by unexpected events: earthquake or volcanic eruption

8. Floods occur if a lot of water comes to a place very quickly and cannot leave it rapidly
