Group 1: How can a contented relationship be identified in the poem?
Find examples of language and structure which support this reading. Predict what the poem will be about and why? Group 2: How is the hurricane presented in the poem? Find examples of language and structure which explore the presentation of the storm Group 3: How is memory presented in the poem? Find examples of language and structure which explore memory in the poem. Context What event inspired the poem? Find a quote to support this? Write a short explanation linked to the quote to show how this was an inspiration for the poem. Look at the title – Why For Fred? Who is this? In three groups.
