4 Introduction Electrical design schematic for the classroom buildings at a boarding school in Elalla, Sri Lanka. Working with Engineers Without Borders who are in charge of the entire design of the school. We will be working with the electrical team on the design of the power layout for the classrooms including light fixtures and power outlets. 5 Plans Buy reference books containing building codes for Sri Lanka.
Begin design for a single classroom within one of the buildings. November, 2005 University of Portland School of Engineering

6 Concerns/Issues Need to narrow down the focus of the project.
Provide an efficient and cost effective electrical layout that coincide with international codes. Determine what each room will be specifically used for. November, 2005 University of Portland School of Engineering

7 Conclusions Working with Engineers Without Borders to design the electrical layout for a school in Sri Lanka. Plan on researching codes and beginning the design for one of the classrooms in the school in the upcoming month. November, 2005 University of Portland School of Engineering
