Marc J. Lipman Celebrating Our Colleague, Our Friend, and a Retirement Well Earned

2 Dr. Lipman joined the faculty in 1976 and resigned in 1989 to work for the Office of Naval Research; he later taught at Oakland University in Michigan, and in 2002 returned to IPFW as Dean of the School of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Lipman received degrees from Lake Forest College (B.A., 1971) and Dartmouth College (A.M., 1973; Ph.D., 1976). He was the recipient of the Amoco Foundation Outstanding Teaching Award in 1986.
