Gave the world the Dharma, we focus on his teachings (sacred writings) passed down through the ages. Possible an avatar, seen as a “savior” who answers prayers. We follow his example and his teachings

Monastery not necessary. One lives a peaceful & compassionate life. Buddha’s compassion and grace will help you (even “evil” people) An experience of the heart
