2 Arrange your desktop.

3 Click lines, then “Close Tab Group” In all sections

4 Check: Window History Layers

5 Arrange desktop so that you can see all open images.

6 New Tool: Rectangular Marquee Tool Elliptical Marquee tool &
These tools allow you to select shapes.

7 #1 Click and drag the shape.

8 New Tool: The Move Tool This tool allows you to move selections.

9 #2 Use the move tool to drag the selection over the background

10 #3 Edit Free Transform To resize and place the selection. Press Enter when done

11 New Tool: Lasso Tool This tool allows draw selections free-hand.

12 Use the Zoom Tool To make the image larger.

13 Edit Free Transform To resize and place the selection. Press Enter when done

14 New Tool: Polygonal Lasso Tool
Makes straight selection lines between clicks.

15 Begin clicking around the subject.

16 This selection tool obviously works best on square objects…

17 Move & Free Transform

18 New Tool: Magnetic Lasso Tool
Think of this as a quick selection lasso.

19 Old Tool: Quick selection Tool

20 You can only affect the highlighted layer

21 Select Deselect To deselect, or start over

22 Save as a JPEG after you are done.

23 GoTo Class notebook Handout Save the “Crazy Court”
folder onto your hard drive. Use the selection tool that each picture is titled to insert that face onto one of the justices. Save the final as “Crazycourt.jpeg” in your photoshop folder.
