Twinning Progress Currently 4 pairs Gazetted (Most recent Reigerpark & Sunwardpark ) Training manual on coaching, twinning legislation & knowledge management 5 coaches and coaches Manager in place Completed Mid Term Review in 2016 Refresher training for current District & Coaches EMASA presentations by School principals,Districts & coaches MEC Target for 2017 – 5 new pairs of Schools gazetted Section 17GB)/New school District training/Incremental scaling in 2018 Extended Pilot to December 2018

Coaches lighter touch on current twinned schools and handover to District Extensive work and alignment with ROS, District, HO Line functions eg Governance and Mathew Goniwe to embed Twinning within the GDE
