(A) Anteroposterior (AP) view of the left shoulder demonstrates a comminuted and displaced fracture of the left proximal humeral metaphysis with widening and disruption of the physis. There is overlying soft tissue swelling. Periosteal reaction is noted along the distal left clavicle. (B) AP view of the right clavicle in the same child demonstrates an acute fracture of the middle third of the right clavicle with inferior displacement of the distal fracture fragment.
