Faculty Recruiting Process Moved to Workday Two options for implementation: Dept can continue to receive faculty applications in current manner Dept can receive all faculty applications through Workday Faculty application process to be fully moved to Workday by March 1, 2018. Advantages of faculty recruiting in Workday: Brings workforce planning, sourcing, applicant tracking, selection and onboarding into a single system Captures uniformly and systematically all necessary data for EEO purposes Issues all mandatory notices to applicants Provides robust reporting capabilities, allowing for centralized online data with real-time reporting DOF

Transition Issues Hires during transition period may need additional review after go-live Example 1: Question about other medical coverage Example 2: Question about prior Optional Retirement Program (ORP) participation Onboarding after go-live will involve more Employee Self-Service (ESS) Example: Personal Data Sheet information Employees need to adopt a plan-ahead mindset Example: Many changes effective the first of the month following submission in Workday (rather than dependent on payroll calculation dates) Elizabeth
