2 Introduction Life on earth is fleeting but we can leave a legacy that lasts. If you have not given much thought to your legacy, it is not too late. What do you think people will say about you at your funeral? Do you want people to say you were more than just a “nice guy”?

3 What drives you daily? Thankfulness for each day.
A desire to follow Jesus. Feeding on the word as example to family. Devotion with family, praying together. Dependence on God when the going is tough. A consistent lifestyle that is orderly. A generous and hospitable spirit. Forgiveness within and without the family. Sincere, unconditional love. Sense of contribution, support and participation. Appreciative and encouraging. A servant heart, looking for those who are feeble, marginalised and left out. Empowering others. Looking at the world with optimism, a friendly world, feeling good about the future. Introduction

4 Start today The beginning of the rest of your life.
Can no longer live for self Luke 12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. Submit to a higher goal Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me. 5 Be Accountable Share your intentions with one or two persons.
Keep them posted on your daily walk – both good and bad. Seek their counsel and prayers. Get together with them for coffee or a meal occasionally Matthew 18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Introduction What drives you daily? Start today

6 In Summary… 2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith. Fight the good fight – every day. Finish the course – never give up.
