12 UNO – Student Housing Freshmen are not required to live on campus.
However, living on campus is convenient and fun! Housing applications are completely separate from the Application for Undergraduate or Graduate Admission. All residents (including freshmen) are allowed to have cars on campus Housing assignment notices will be mailed in July for the Fall semester “Living on campus is better than home. You still have all the comforts with conveniences and your new friends become family.”
