We will fold a house today.

5. Things that you will need
a piece of red colored paper scissors glue

6. Folding a house 1. Put the paper colored side down.
2. Fold it in half and make a rectangle. If you fold it one more time you will see a square.
3. Open up the square and fold the right side to meet the middle line.

4. Fold the left side to meet the line in the middle too.
5. Open up the fold, and put your finger between the two layers of paper.
6.Then open up the rectangle and fold the paper to make one triangle at the top and the rectangle at the bottom. It will look like a house.

7. You will do the same folding on the left side too. You can see two houses.
8. Fold the paper in half so that you can see one house on each side.
9. Then you will cut half of the triangle at the corner.

9. Folding a house 10. Fold this little triangle backwards and forwards.
11. Open it up once and push the little triangle in side the paper. We will conceal this part.
12. Put the glue on the white rectangles and paste them.

10. Folding a house 13. Then we will do the same on the left side too.
14. Now you can see your home sweet home.
15. I added a piece of paper on the floor.

You can use this home as a background for the storytelling or puppet play.
