Sun and Cloud System Steps Action Taken Purple (Rainbow)
Repeated behaviour of those listed below or a single piece of outstanding behaviour. Silver Independent learner, challenging themselves, helping others, being thoughtful ect). Green (Sunshine) Starting point for all children. White (Cloud) Verbal warning which is the cloud. Child moves his/her name from the ‘Sun’ to the ‘White Cloud’ This acts as a visual reminder that they have received a warning. Yellow (Rain cloud) Second warning if white card behaviour is continued. If a child does not modify his/her behaviour he or she then moves his/her name from the White cloud to the Black cloud Red (Thunder cloud) Physically hurting others, swearing or repeated behaviour that negatively effects theirs or others learning. If the child still does not modify his/her behaviour, He/she moves his/her name from the Black Cloud onto the Thunder Cloud, and receives a Red Card (see further guidance on the use of the Red Card in the safe guarding file).This is recorded on the behaviour record sheet.

Rainbow Champion child for every child that has their name on the purple and is still on purple by the end of the day.
