Welcome to KUT!!
Aiming at the cultivation of human resources in engineering, Kochi University of Technology (KUT) was established by Kochi Prefecture in April of Kami campus where the program will be mainly held is beautiful with vibrant green fields and surrounded by picturesque mountains. It really is an attractive place to enjoy Japanese country life.
Our program offers you the opportunity to experience unique and traditional activities which cannot be seen in large cities.
Eligibility
You are expected to:
-be an undergraduate or master student (under 40 years of age)
-have never visited Japan
-have good academic performance in the field of technology, science or mathematics
-have a strong interest in the program
-have a good health to dance during daylight in midsummer (The average temperature is about 30 degrees Celsius in August)
*Airfare, accommodation fee and excursion cost will be covered by KUT.

-interaction with KUT students and local people
-popular and famous YOSAKOI FESTIVAL in Kochi city
-some lectures by our professors
-two full-day excursions in Kochi
