Types of waste
HAZARDOUS means any waste which is covered by article 1 of Directive 91 on hazardous waste.
CLASSIFYING BY CHARACTERISTICS
NON HAZARDOUS waste which is not covered by Directive 91.
INERT, waste that not undergo any significant physical, chemical or biological transformations. Inert waste will not dissolve, burn or otherwise physically or chemically react, biodegrade, leachability and ecotoxicity must be insignificant.

Oversee the functioning of the system.
Coordinate the different involved agents through the logistic office.

8. Legal conditions for take-back systems
Introduce a guarantee (4% of sales volume).
The take-back systems shall cover all the Andalusia territory.
Take-back systems shall comply with the proximity principle at regional level.
In the same way compliance with the auto-sufficiency principle at regional level.

Take-back systems have to build awareness.
Coordinate themselves through an agreement and creating an special office for logistic coordination.
Report information to the environmental authority.
Authorised by the government for a five-year period.
Inform about which are the joined producers.
