Curtain Actuator M/W
2
Curtain Introduction The curtain actuators use 10A relay for switching forward, reverse or stop on every output channel and each channel has a bypass button for manual control. The functions include Blinds mode, Curtain mode, Priority setup, Forced position operation, Limit position control, Status response for position, Status for operation, Scene control, Safety control, and Automatic control
3
Wiring The bypass button is for manual control, up/down and adjust position. Keep long pressing it, the curtain will move to the fully open/close position. after reach the end, long press it again to adjust the curtain.(after installed it, use to adjust the curtain real position to sync the curtain module position) shutter: short press, no action blinds: short press, adjust louver
4
Priority setup Work with the weather sensor which can detect the wind, rain, frost, then control the curtain moving to the safe position. Set the priority of these weather conditions, when the sensor detected more than one conditions, it will execute the action of the first priority condition. You can enable/disable the weather conditions here.
5
Moving time operation mode:
shutter- fot normal curtain, open/close/stop control blinds- for the curtain which has the louver, open/close/stop control and louver adjust moving time: user needs to test the curtain's moving time then set the time value here
6
Alignment Start up time:
set the delay time for curtain to move when receives the up/down command Alignment: the alignment time to sync the curtain real status and the module status, after installed the curtain, will need to use this function, after that, normally no need to use it.
7
Control setting use 'move shutter up/down' and 'stop moving' objects to control the curtain running, assign two group addresses for them, shown in the above picture. move shutter up/down- receives 1, will move up; receives 0, will move down. stop moving- no matter receives 0 or 1, will stop moving

Q1: For weather alarm, how could curtain module get the state of wind, rain and frost? Surely a special sensor need to be used, what are those sensors? A1: HDL does not have such type of sensor that can detect the wind/ rain/ frost for the time being(will develop it in the future), you can look for this sensor on the market yourself. Q2: We can preset 4 positions in position function page, when do we need to use this function? A2: This four positions normally use with auto control function, when the sensor detects different lux/ temperature, will move to different positions(position1/2/3/4) according to your settings.

Q3: There are two options “set positon” and “move to positon” in position function page, how to use these functions? A3: Set position: There are 4 preset positions in database, user can use button to change these values via this object. If the object “set position1/2” receives 0, current position will replace position1, if receives 1, current position will replace position2; If the object “set position3/4” receives 0, current position will replace position3, if receives 1, current position will replace position4. Move to position: you can manually control the curtain to these four preset positions. If the object “move to position1/2(3/4)” receives 0, will move to position 1(3); if receives 1, will move to position 2(4).

Q4: It‘s hard to understand some descriptions in auto pages, heating, cooling, sun. And how can the curtain module can get these states? A4: For auto control function(auto1/ auto2), need to use sensor to detect lux("sun" in database) / temperature("cooling/heating" in the database). sun=0, low lux; sun=1, high lux. cooling=1, low temp; heating=1, high temp. For low or high value, according to your settings in sensor. Q5: There are 3 options called forced operation1, 2, 3 and also exit forced operation, what do they mean? A5: Force position has the highest priority control right, if you use this function, need to exit it before you do another control(2 bit: 10 up; 11 down; 00/01 exit. 1 bit: 1 specific position; 0 exit). Normally no need to use it.
