2 Reasons Behind the Laws These would be the upper class people.

Reasons Behind the Laws Restricted the sumptuousness of dress in order to curb extravagance, protect fortunes, and make clear the necessary and appropriate distinctions between levels of society The main concern was that was that money spent on frivolous display would be better spent on the state of more important things The other concern was that letting anyone wear just anything must lead inexorably to moral decline These would be the upper class people.

4 Classes The difference between the classes was huge
No matter the class you always had to present yourself well Upper class usually dressed in many layers with very colorful, thick fabrics The lower class wore plainer clothing made from more coarse material Before caption goes here Delete text and place photo here. Women’s Clothing Often contained many layers Only the undergarments were laundered- the top layers were never washed Lace was used in practically every piece of clothing including the neck piece, bodice, and skirt The two big colors used were two shades of red These would be the upper class.

Delete text and place photo here. Men’s Clothing There were also many layers that were used when a man dressed The men wore very puffy shorts with tights underneath They then wore a shirt that was also puffy and a vest on top of that These would be the upper class people.
