4. Pan-Canadian Health Promoter Competencies
June 2016, a new entity called: Health Promotion Canada emerged.
Summer 2016 logo consultation occurred
Fall 2016 mission, vision, and values established
Fall 2017 launched HPC website

5. Mission: support the advancement of health promotion practice in Canada
Vision:
By 2026, HPC will be a vibrant, connected and effective collaborative for workforce development and action in health promotion.
So that by 2046, all health promoters are equipped to foster health equity for all in communities across Canada.

6. Aims to engage those studying, volunteering, researching and working in the field of Health Promotion to advance the profession, while raising the profile of Health Promoters.
Seeks to advance the critical importance of health promotion and its practice through professional development, membership, member communication, and advocacy.

providing leadership opportunities at the local level;
providing the opportunity to network with other health promoters on educational, professional and social levels;
