4. When Patroclus is killed, Hector tries to steal his body
When Patroclus is killed, Hector tries to steal his body. Ajax, assisted by Menelaus, succeeds in fighting off the Trojans and taking the body back with his chariot; however, the Trojans had already stripped Patroclus of Achilles' armor. Ajax's prayer to Zeus to remove the fog that has descended on the battle to allow them to fight or die in the light of day has become proverbial. According to Hyginus, in total, Ajax killed 28 people at Troy.

5. Commit suicide by stabbing himself
That night, outside the Greek camp, Ajax plans his revenge.  He sneaks back into the camp, and begins to kill every Greek he sees.  Athena has sent a madness upon him, however, and he is actually cutting down a herd of livestock.  In the morning, he gloats over his victories, but eventually begins to realize what he has done.  Completely disgraced, Ajax falls upon his own sword, which had been given to him by Hector when he was at the height of his glory.

6. Ajax Cleaner
Ajax was one tough soldier in Greek Mythology. The grandson of Zues, he never needed any help from the Gods when he was in battle. Ajax the cleanser is supposedly “stronger than dirt”. So, it makes sense that the Proctor and Gamble Company would name this product after a tough Greek fighter. Dirt doesn’t stand a chance now!
