As the teacher, you will enter your schedule for the following week on a Google Spreadsheet
Example: TIME Week of: September Monday: Factoring Trinomials Tuesday: Not Available - Collaborating Wednesday: Extra Help with Assignments Thursday: Special Triangles Friday: Extra Help with Assignments During Collaboration you could decide among your team if there are certain topics that you would like to offer and open to other students to join Use the guiding questions to filter your decisions Want to provide students a support that meets their needs …. If you are explaining something 10X individually, why not make another instruction class and do it once?

Students Access TIME: Students can submit their schedule anytime during the prior week. Teachers will allow students time each Friday during TIME to refine and ensure each student has submitted their schedule electronically. Registration Insights:
Students can access registration anytime to enter sessions (2 week windows) If a student is required to be at your TIME, you can register the student to be with a certain teacher/class at that very moment Helpful for student services to mandate a meeting with a student Helpful for teachers to use as a requirement for Relearn/Reassess expectations Helpful for administration to mandate supports for individual students In the last minutes of TIME on Friday, the teacher allows time to ensure each student in their room has a schedule for the following week

Technology Support During the first 2 weeks of TIME, the students will be guided how to submit and access the TIME information from their “home room” teacher. Videoclips will shared at that time and then later posted on the website Students must use their LPSD accounts to access TIME information “Home room” teacher will be the class prior to I-TIME - will be used for first 2 week of I-TIME and Student-Led Conferences

TIME Expectations: Teacher:
At the start of the day on Thursday (8:47am), each teacher will electronically post a schedule for the following week. Student: Students will be given time at the end of TIME on Friday to electronically register for the following week. Students will select a schedule of blocks they will be accessing based on their individual need and/or teacher/admin request.

Typical Agenda for Teacher Collaboration: (Scheduled Once a Week)
10 minutes Set up schedule for TIME topics for the following week based on student need - discuss student needs 25 minutes Work on Deliverable 5 minutes Determine what outside work needs to be accomplished before next meeting

There will always be new challenges in education, a profession in which continuous improvement is a necessary reality for staff and students, so it is essential that success be validated and celebrated. (Pg 57)
