3 What is a “playsheet”?

4 Why a “playsheet”? Term coined by Alice Keeler (50 Things You Can Do with Google Classroom 2016) Like a “worksheet,” only more fun Provide immediate feedback so students know right away if they are correct Allow for differentiation--students work at their own pace & can complete playsheets multiple times, as needed Fun & engaging Easily shared with students via Classroom or URL

Flashcard sets with 12 or more questions can be used as a review game Students are given a code to join the review game; need 6 or more students to play Randomly puts students into teams for game play $35/year for upgraded version Track student progress, add pictures & audio, create your own student groups, etc.

Students play as a live whole-group experience Feedback Compatible with any device Questions appear on the teacher’s computer Make sure all students can view the questions clearly Students use their device to choose the correct answer
