THE STUDENT WILL: ICTI3. - The student will recognize facts about Web Publishing by using a Web Quest.  ICT14.a. Demonstrate proper hand, finger, and body position when using a keyboard (ongoing). Pre-Bell Question: Create a science/ social studies topic or question you would like to research on the Internet. -Bell Work Question: Describe ways that you interact with your peers when you are online. (Give examples)

The teacher will introduce and discuss Blog, Wikis and Discussion Board with students and the Etiquette for using them. (PowerPoint). Also students will be shown examples of Blog, Wikis and Discussion Board- 2. The students will write notes on the Etiquettes for using Blog, Wikis, and Discussion Board and find more examples on the web. 10 mins 3. The students will begin next lesson Edu Keyboarding. 20 mins 4.  Teacher will continue skills on www. Computer Lesson using this website work on Cyberbullying Module mins and Cyberbullying poster. Differentiated Activities Homework assignments: Handout questions-Etiquettes for Blog, Wikis and Discussion Board and continue keyboarding practice at home. 5. Use correct finger reaches from home row to top/bottom row keys (ongoing). c. Perform touch typing by keying words, sentences, and paragraphs (ongoing). BELL WORK –WED. Pre Bell Question: Explain two Etiquettes (Rules) for Blogs, Wikis, and Discussion Board and why it is important to use it.

The teacher will introduce lesson, give purpose, and explain that these keyboarding lessons are ongoing lessons and how important it is to use proper position and finger reaches. 2. Students will complete Internet Hunt Web Quest –See Wed. Link on my Web site in order to complete the work. Write on your paper. Turn in Work today. (Timer: 20 mins) 3. The students will continue Edu Keyboarding lesson today (Keyboard Covers must be on) Timer 20 mins. 4. Teacher will continue skills on www. Computer Lesson –Module 5 and 6 using this website work on it and if time permits, work on Cyberbullying poster. Differentiated Activities –15 mins. 5 Wrap up with a review of today's lesson. (Pair –Share Review) Homework: Keyboarding Activities—Due Thursday-Entire Assignment

The teacher will review previous notes and handouts on Web Publishing and Etiquette (Rules) for publishing on the Internet. 3 The students will continue everfi lesson on Students will complete Edu Keyboarding Lesson for evaluation. 5. Closure: Wrap up with a review on today's lesson. (Pair & Share Review) Homework: Study all Handouts and notes on Web Publishing and Etiquette Rules for publishing on the Internet for Quiz on Friday, and continue to practice keyboarding at home on .

Pre-Bell Activities: How do you think creating a Blog would be helpful to you and your education? 1. The teacher will introduce lesson and administer Web Publishing /Keyboarding Test. 2. Complete Web Publishing/Keyboarding Test on Canvas or Scantrom and turn in for evaluation. 2a. Complete Handout-Mother Theresa-Turn In. 3. Complete Edu Keyboarding lessons for the week. 4. Student will post a journal entry on Blackboard--Describing their feeling about Web Publishing.-such as Blogs, Wikis and Discussion Board, and students will reply to their post.
