Talk about your vocation in your club, and take time to learn about fellow members’ vocations Use your professional skills to serve a community – Vocational Training, Computer and Financial Literacy Practice your profession with integrity, and inspire others to behave ethically through your own words and actions – Value and Ethics Help a young person achieve his or her career aspirations – Career Guidance / Mentoring Guide and encourage others in their professional development – attract new generation

The classification principle – ensures that each club’s membership represents a cross-section of business and professional community Host a classification talk Arrange Vocational Tours & Awareness Trips Create a Rotary Fellowship Group Volunteer where your professional skills can be used - VTT. VALUES & ETHICS INTEGRITY AND ETHICS: As leaders in your business / profession; Ensure high ethical standards in your workplace hiring, training, Internal communications, praise and encourage Nurture relationships with customers, vendors, associates. Ethical practices rely on Honest language about ethical behavior Encourage proper behavior to strengthen personal integrity Refuse to allow for grey areas WALK THE TALK ON HIGH ETHICAL STANDARDS

9 Micro Credit & Self Help
Financially weaker people don’t get Financial Aid from institutions for lack of Collateral Security, Steady employment and / or Verifiable credit history Micro Credit is a part of Micro Finance and provides a wider range of financial services, provides very small loans (micro loans) to those in extreme poverty. It Fosters entrepreneurship. make a ‘non bankable’ borrower into a creditworthy ONE.

10 Micro Credit & Self Help
Non Funded Micro Credit & Self Help Ensure that borrowers are trained to improve their Vocational skills maintain proper accounts, operate Bank Accounts on their own appreciate the need for life and general insurance follow good hygiene and cleanliness practices and maintain good personal health.

11 What Clubs can do? Arrange / attend seminars on Value and Ethics
Distribute Books on Value & Ethics Promote Corp. Governance and Fair Trade Practices by conducting Seminars & internally Confer the awards in October Promote Unconventional Professions Arrange visits to Science Institutions Create Fund Based micro credit facility Arrange for Micro loans directly / thru Self Help Groups Arrange Micro credit loans thru intermediaries
