Quinceañera. How is celebrated in other countries?
Mexico Church ceremony Starts with a mass in the catholic church. It is a mass of gratitude where people remember the virgin. As a young woman, she was announce she would be the mother of Jesus. Girls leaves her flowers in the altar and then leaves with family to celebrate with family and friends. Food, music, and dance. Friends and family come too.

Quinceañera La celebración marca la transición de niña a mujer de la quinceañera. This celebration marks the transition from little girl to young women. There is a ceremony where the father scorts the girl in the room where the quinciañera changes her flat shoes to shoes with high hill. Then she dances a traditional vals with her father first and then she dances with several young men she invited. Every one is dressed formal. At this time the quinceañera is introduced to society. Her make up is light, her dresses is special and all that she wears. This is a time to let her know she is like a princess. She is special

The spirit can come back and visit family. Dead is the beginning of a new life. Deceased loved ones are to be remembered and celebrated by making altars for them with their pictures, flowers and food. .
