Policy for Registration after the regular registration period has ended:
Those registering late will be placed on a team only on a space available basis. If there is no space available late registrations will be put on a waitlist. Being put on a waitlist does not guarantee that a child will be added to a team. If a space opens up and SBCR determines that it is best to fill that space then the waitlist will be accessed. The waitlist is first come first served. If a spot opens up waitlist parents will be asked if they would still like their child to join a team. The parent can accept or decline at that time. If they decline they will be removed from the list. Children registered from the waitlist will be charged the full registration costs plus the late fee. Request to reduce the registration fees must be made in writing after the registration and late fees are paid in full. Before a child can be pulled of the waitlist and registered their registration costs and late fees must be paid. Children enrolled after the initial registration period has begun should be aware that uniforms and other supplies provided by SBCR may be delayed for their child. Anyone already registered that makes a middle school team will be given a full refund if the proper withdrawal paperwork is completed and returned before, whichever comes later, the SBCR’s age level draft or two working days after the middle school team is announced. Late fees will not be waived for those that register late after finding out they did not make the middle school team.
